Community : Asker River Project
A project involving members of this and Loders Parish is analysing then hopefully enhancing the quality of the river.
The Environment Agency current rates the Asker as poor because of the lack of fish and aquatic plants.

Community : Enhancement of biodiversity on A35 verges
There is an initiative to enhance the plant biodiversity on both A35 verges from Chilcombe Lane to Long Bredy Hut Lane.
Proposal documents are attached here and here, also available in the village hall. Feedback from our community is sought
by the end of March2019 either on the sheet within the village hall documents or to askerswellchair@gmail.com.

Community : Community Coffee - Everyone is welcome to Community Coffee which is
held on the first Thursday of each month, 10:30 to 12:00 in the Village Hall. The following dates for coffee are
Thursday 6th December and Thursday 3rd January.
Community : SCHOOL BUS - First School Bus Services can be used by the public to travel to and from local villages
during School terms Monday to Friday.
Adult single £3.50 Adult return £5.00. Concessionary passes may be used in the afternoon,

Community : HOME LIBRARY SERVICE - Do you know someone who loves reading but is unable to get to their local library?
A service is provided by the Dorset Library Services and delivered by Royal Voluntary Service volunteers.
