Planning Applications

Dorset Council notifies the Clerk of any planning applications relevant to the Parish and requests a response from our community. Current and past applications can be viewed at the Council's website https://www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/planning-buildings-land/planning/planning-application-search-and-comment.aspx. nb. Search West Dorset and add Askerswell as the keyword.

A meeting will normally be organised by the Clerk in the Village Hall to obtain the views of the community before providing a formal response to the Council. Comments on planning applications should be limited to Material Planning Considerations.
